A Bit About Me

I am originally from Broomfield, Colorado where I grew up surrounded by my parents, my older brother, and plenty of dogs. The dinner conversation always revolved around politics, thus sparking my interest in the law and civic engagement. Political discourse developed into a passion in high school where I participated in my school's debate team.

I am a Political Science major, interested in child welfare, the foster care system, the school-to-prison pipeline as well as the criminal justice system. I am minoring in Philosophy, as I have always been interested in the nature of thought- especially regarding constitutionality and laws.
I am also a member of the Presidents Leadership Class (PLC).  PLC is a top scholar four-year leadership and skill development program.  Through this program, I am pursuing a second minor in Leadership Studies.
I intend to go to law school after getting my degree from CU Boulder, where I intend to find a career in child advocacy law or work in some manner with the foster care system.
